Washing Recommendations:
Hand wash or machine wash on delicate cycle in cold water
with mild soap. Allow to dry naturally on flat
surface. To retain natural lanolin in fibers, do
not dry clean.

In person, Lilac Heather is a playful
purple. A generous blend of medium purple shades and natural white
dance across this medium-dense 3-ply fiber.
Lilac Heather's purpled tones are reminiscent of the
days-gone-by simplicity of hand-spun wholesomeness. Plus, it makes
working with Lilac Heather an adventure of sorts--it's fun to watch the
tones play into the scheme of your pattern!
Needle size, lanolin content and washings play a role in
the final softness of Lilac Heather. Drape and softness increase
as needle size and/or number of washings increase (similar to blue jean
denim). But, even when knit tightly on size three needles, the fibers
are soft to the touch. Of course the retention of some of the
woolen fiber's natural lanolin adds to the creamy softness of Cestari's
Lilac Heather.
